Unseen focuses on the sense of isolation that lies beneath the surface of Ravel's impressionistic style in his piano compositions. Five male bodies, one soloist — the space between them charged with what cannot be said.

The costumes are designed as long black sleeveless monk robes with intricate details and extreme volume capacity. The innovation is in their physics: in stillness they pool and drape; in motion they become extensions of the human body, the trail of something burning.

Within the palpable, sensual choreography, when the dancers extend their long robes blend, the details project, the sweat adds dramatic visual feast. When they jump, the volumes inflate. When they land, they settle like paratroopers. A piece about love, lust and destruction.
